Sharran Makin

Sharran Makin is a multidisciplinary, national award-winning artist at Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle, NSW. She is best known for her photography, printmaking and painting and loves working with many mediums. Her work is often inspired by nature, the land, and the Ocean, which has been an essential part of her life.

Sharran has a Diploma and Advanced Diploma in Visual Arts through TAFE NSW and currently completing a Bachelor of Creative Practice and has also studied short courses with Master printers such as Michael Kempson and Graham Merchant and the National Art School. She is a member of Newcastle Printmakers Workshop and also the Makers Studio on the Central Coast.
