Introduction To Screen Printing
Learn the basics of screen printing on paper. This workshop will teach you how to prepare a screen (including the application and removal of light-sensitive emulsion), and then create a single colour print of your design.
What Is Provided:
All materials are provided.
What To Bring:
Students are encouraged to bring images that they would like to print to class. A high contrast, uncomplicated A4 size black and white image will need to be emailed to the tutor before the workshop so that it can be printed on transparent paper at Office Works before the workshop.
- Apron or old clothes because screen printing gets messy!
- Closed-in shoes are a must for safety.
- Safety goggles and earmuffs if you want your own (you can buy these at Bunnings).
- If you require, your own lunch, snacks and drinks, as there are no food outlets close by.
